Canyoning

Feel the water falling on your face and body with the nice sensation of it flowing in front of you. You don’t need to have any experience nor physical condition to fully enjoy this adventure, a few minutes away from Baños.

Cascadas Chamana Level III – Half day

9:00 Departure from our agency.
Here we will receive all the equipment and travel for 10 minutes. Then, we’ll start walking for 5 minutes until the first waterfall. The guide will give safety and practice instructions, as well as tour information.
First, we’ll go down a 15 m waterfall, then we’ll continue to a 20 m one. In the third place, a 8 m slide, where we’ll descend with ropes and, finally, we’ll go down through a huge 45 m waterfall.
You don’t need to have any experience. Kids can also participate, as we have special equipment for them.

Río Blanco Level IV – Half day

9:00 Departure from our agency to Río Blanco.
Here we will receive all the equipment and start a 15 minutes walk. The guide will give safety instructions and we’ll practice the first descent doing rappel in a wall. Once the practice is finished, we’ll go to the first 15 m waterfall, continue with two more of 18 and 25 m, and end in the biggest one of 35 m with a slide.

Cashaurco Río Negro Level III- IV

09:00 Departure from our agency. We will travel for 40 minutes to Cashaurco. Here we’ll receive all the equipment and start a 5 minutes walk. The guide will give safety instructions.
We’ll find a 5 m jump and, going through the canyon, have another 7 m jump. Here, the guides will install a 35 m zip-line and we’ll descend one at a time. Next, we’ll run into several small jumps, places where we’ll practice flotation, in order to reach a 23 m waterfall, where we’ll do rappel for 20 m and jump the other 3 m into a deep pool.
We’ll follow to the next 14 m waterfall, where we’ll do rappel for 12 m and jump the last part. Finally, we’ll have a 2 m jump you can repeat a second time.
A delicious grilled trout will be waiting for us in order to recover some energy.
